Rainbow Innocence

from $45.00

Located on Rue St-Dominique, this mural, created by Paris-based artist Seth, is one of the most booming art scenes of the Plateau Mont-Royal neighborhood. When I first came across this innocent and colorful mural, not only did I like the colorful style and its integration into the environment, it also piqued my curiosity to understand what concept the artist tried to convey by depicting a young boy with his head in the rainbow drawing up the “curtain” on the wall. I found out that the child, with his innocent image, is meant to be a spokesperson, a messenger of his investigations which place him in difficult social, political, and geographical circumstances and contexts. The ambiance of people leisurely passing by this vibrant and conceptual mural made this scene very special to me, highlighting the open-minded artistic vibe and colorful culture of this particular neighborhood of Montreal.

Originally painted with acrylic on a 16”x20” canva-paper, this is a fine art print, on an acid-free, very smooth, high-quality 210 gsm paper.

The paper size includes a white border for framing purposes and for extra protection of the image area during shipping. It is highly recommended to frame the print as soon as you receive it.
