Fountain Of Love
Square Saint-Louis, located between Rue Saint-Denis and Avenue Laval, is maybe one of Montreal's most beautiful parks. With its European charm and elegance, it is a unique gem in the heart of the Plateau-Mont-Royal neighborhood. The square is also notable for the Victorian, ornate and colorful houses surrounding it. A cast-iron fountain is situated in the center of a large painted pool in the middle of the park, and is surrounded by many benches: a preferred spot for readers, couples, or people that want to relax. Being such an enchanted place for lovers, I couldn’t resist taking a photo of a kissing couple, capturing this romantic moment in this equally romantic park, and painting it.
